Greetings sunners!

Genuine thanks to all managers answered to my posting! These brave people are:

Emy Parparita parpae@jgbdev.fi.gs.com
David Harte <david.harte@hos.horizon.ie>
Toby Creek <creek@aur.alcatel.com>
Kevin Sheehan Kevin.Sheehan@uniq.com.au
Michael Sullivan mike@trdlnk.com

Particularly, I would like to express a special BIG THANKS to Rahul Roy
<uroy@eadev1.vanguard.com> who sent me three comprehensive documents about
using the adb, tips of adb and Crash dump analysis. Complete URLs of these
documents are:

http://sunsolve.sun.com/private-cgi/doc2html?faqs/1153+88773158510776

Other replies indicated that the best way to know deeply about debugging
and core analysis lies through the following book:

"PANIC! UNIX System Crash Dump Analysis Handbook" by
   Chris Drake, SunSoft Press
   Kimberley A.D. Brown
   at www.prenticehall.com

Or inquire about it in the internet:
   http://sunsite.queensu.ca/sunmicro/sunpress/books/Drake/Drake.html

The book contains a lot of good information about crash dumps. It does
require that you have some C and assembly language background.

Toby Creek says:

Sun also distributes a script called iscda.sh. It's available on
sunsolve. It will give you some preliminary output from a crash
dump. I've never used it, so I don't know how useful it is.

Living in Russia it's just impossible to order that great book. So I was very
glad to scoop a good info from documents sent to me by Rahul Roy. Thanks again!

With kind regards,
Vitaly Beliaev
