The answer is for Solaris 2.6 the xntpd is part of the normal installation.
XNTP/NTP also has the facility to drift time as well.
You can get XNTP and NTP from http://src.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/
>From what I gather, XNTP is easier to install and use.
