Thanks to all who reply to my query :
The original question was :
>is there any limit in swap space partition on Solaris 2.5.1
>i made 6 giga swap partition (b) in 9 giga disk
>but in swap -l i can see only 2 giga.
The answers were almost the same :
The 2 GB limit is a Solaris limitation.
You can't have a single file bigger than 2 GB.
Try breaking the file system into 3 equal parts and
adding the additional file systems as swap. :)
this was from Chad.
And thanks again to all who replly to my query.
