Digging into this, I discovered the message in question is being
generated by the Fore ATM kernel module. I did a strings on
/etc/fore/kernel/fore_atm, grepped for the message and found it there.
As to what provoked the message, I believe it was a hardware reset on
our (unused) ATM switch.
