Hi managers,
My original question was how to store "route" configuration permanently,
both in Solaris and in SunOS.
Well, thanks to everyone who responded. There proved to be several ways of
doing this: In Solaris the "route add ....." command can be added as a
startup script (S.......) in the /etc/rc2.d location. In SunOS the command
can be added to the /etc/rc.local startup script. However, it is even more
simple just to create the file "defaultrouter" in the /etc location (valid
for both operating system versions). This file simply contains the hostname
of the router (which can be a Sun host with two network interfaces).
Best regards
