Hello again gurus,
Thanks for all the replies. List of people who reply was attached at
the end of this message. In general, most of the people recommend not
to install SunOS 4.1.2 to SS10 because it's not compatible OS to the
machine. Well, that brought up another problem for me. What I will try
to do now is to install Solaris 2.5.1 to this SS10. This machine will
have two functions: web servers and a gateway. To doing this, I would
need all your help or recommendation again.
1. In order to create a web server I need a HTTP package. Could anyone
point me to a good HTTP package for Solaris 2.5.1? At least a website
to search is fine.
2. How would you config a gateway in Solaris 2.5.1?
3. If I have data on a tape backup by SunOS 4.1.2 using "rdump", can I
"ufsrestore" those data to Solaris 2.5.1 system?
Thanks for all your help in advance.
