SUMMARY: processes accessing a file, other manager lists?

I recently posted a question about how to tell which processes are
accessing a file, and a spastic sendmail. The sendmail problem decided to
go away on its own once I decided to concentrate on figuring out what was
going on.

fuser & lsof will both tell you which programs are accessing a file.

While I'm posting, does anyone know of a list similar to this one for IRIX?
