Thanks all for the speedy responses:

mminfo -m

Now I suspect I have a different problem:

# mminfo -m
   volume written (%) read expires mounts capacity
   APOLLO.001 10 GB 100% 0 KB 3/12/99 2 5000 MB

How can a 5GB tape, 160 meters long, raw capacity of 7GB store up to
10GB? I'm checking my configuration now.
