Sorry this summary is a bit late, but i've been somewhat swamped at
work lately. I'd like to thank the following people for responding
to my question:
Mark Fogelson
Maria Coniglio
Vaughn Adams
Cecil Pang
Francis Liu
Arularasan Ramasamy
Alan Kong
Marc S. Gibien
My original question was how to change the IP address of a root
master NIS+ server without replicas. I received a few horror
stories, and a few suggestions. Most of the suggestions were to dump
things to flat files, and then redo the NIS+ tables from those files
on the new server. This is the approach I will take.
Thanks again for the help... this list once again proves valuable to
me.
