Problem: I can't connect to an internet provider using ppp solaris 2.5.1
This Internet provider uses dinamic ip addressing.

Solution: Put in the /etc/asppp.cf the line

negotiate_address on

here is an example:

/etc/asppp.cf:

    ifconfig ipdptp0 plumb 192.1.1.10 207.89.17.3 up
    path
        interface ipdptp0
        inactivity_timeout 120
        peer_system_name isp
        default_route
        negotiate_address on
