Bit over due this one still better late than never. My original query was
how to boot from CDROM and manualy mount filesystems, LOTS of people
replied the most common solution being as follows :-
from prom
ok boot cdrom -sw
and once the system has booted use /a as the mount point for the required
partitions
e.g.
# mount /dev/dsl/c0t3d0s0 /a
