SUMMARY:Netmask on route(1M) command.

My question:

 How i can add an entry on the routing tables with a specific netmask?,
 the command route(1M) does not provide this.

The summary:

 With only the route(1M) command, i cannot do it!. The only way and only
for local interfaces and addresses is putting an entry on /etc/netmasks.

In words of Casper Dik:

 "There's no interface defined with which route/routed can give the proper
netmask information to the kernel."
