I mentioned I had a problem having my machine with a Magma 16sp
card talk to my machines connected to it via serial cables.
Virtually everyone mentioned that I should check the cable types.
They were right. The new problem was that the MAGMA specs for
RJ45-to-RS232 translators are sort of hard to implement by yourself
(lots of cable splitting. Fun.), so we just ended up purchasing
them from Magma directly.
