The original question was :
I have a NIS network , 1 master and 1 slave , both SunOS 4.1.3.
Clients are SunOS and Solaris 2.x
My problem is 'password aging' and 'requiring password'
How can I implement this with NIS ?
-- Software, scripts ......??

He sent me a software-packet called SPM(The System For Password Managment)
This software can be downloaded from :
www.rz.go.dlr.de:8081/unix/src/misc
I have done some testing and it seems to cover 'requiring password'
and not 'password aging'
