HI all,\

well, I am sending the summary kind of early since I am losing use of my system
for a while. Basically the consensus was to check whether there was a ulimit ot
limit statemtn in the users' config files ("dot" files). There may be something
in there that causes my problem.

Resources he may be limiting are below:

cputime unlimited
filesize unlimited
datasize 524280 kbytes
stacksize 8192 kbytes
coredumpsize 16000 kbytes
memoryuse unlimited
descriptors 250

Also, suggested a test between working users' files and failing environment.
