Got quite a few quick answers on this one. The suggestions were:
1. Get the latest version of pdksh from ftp.cs.mun.ca:/pub/pdksh.
For those who mentioned that 5.2.8 was available at this site,
you should know that the latest version there is now 5.2.11.
2. Get the ATT version of PKSH, which is supposed to be freely
available to educational institutions, and I've discovered costs
only $149 if you have to buy it. The URL for info on PKSH is
http://www.bell-labs.com/org/ssg/products/pksh.htm. I've sent
mail to the address on this URL, but have not heard back yet
on getting PKSH free.
3. Run GNU Bash, which has many ksh features and is available at
any one of a billion GNU distribution sites. You should make sure
to get the newest version. I believe there was some sort of security
hole in a previous release.

Anyone know of a good ksh implementation for SunOS 4.1.3? I've gotten a
copy of pdksh by Simon Gerraty, which looks suitable but hasn't seen a
release in the last few years. Is this the best thing going for SunOS
4.x? Thanks.
