Hi sun-managers,
Well thanks again my 1000E is working. I installed the DLT following
the instructions. Well guess what the instrutions were wrong! There was a
line that looked like this:
"QUANTUM DLT4000","Digital Linear Tape","DLT-data";
When I did a scsi-probe the device found was a
Quantum DLT4000
So I change my line to look like this:
"Quantum DLT4000","Digital Linear Tape","DLT-data";
After the reboot the mt status comes back:
b2xsfs29# mt -f /dev/rmt/1hn status
Other tape drive:
sense key(0x0)= No Additional Sense residual= 0 retries= 0
file no= 0 block no= 0
I thought this should come back a Quantum DLT or something.
Thanks for the help,
Chatch
