the answer to it is by "man door" on Solaris 2.5.

Sun introduced a new file type called a "door" in Solaris 2.5. It is
for a new flavor of interprocess communication (somewhat like a very
fast socket; see man door for details), but they evidently have not yet
updated the various utilities to ignore files of that type. There is
no need to back up door files since their only use in Solaris 2.5 is by
the name service cache daemon, which will automatically recreate its
door each time it is started.
