Thanx for all the responces.
Basically there are 2 ways:
1. Use -o option with lp command (not available with enscript).
sun% lp -d <printername> -o duplex <file>
2. Setup a duplex print queue.
- Use admintool/solstice and add alias to existing printer ip name.
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx pr1 pr1_dp
- Create new queue with jetadmin.
- add print spooler (pr1_dp)
- use 4si script (net_lj4x)
- Use admintool-"Print Manager" to change Printer Port.
- Change Printer Port: /dev/pr1_dp --> /dev/pr1
- Edit print script to "always" duplex when printing.
- Edit /etc/lp/interfaces/model.orig/pr1_dp
Change options=$5 to options=duplex
- Try it now.
sun% lp -d pr1_dp <longfile>
