So far as I know all the Artecon drivers are backward compatible for
read.
When you say 1024Mb do you actually mean the 1.3Gb. If so then I can
confirm that
they are fully compatible for read and write.
If you have old 1Gb disks from a Tahiti II drive, then there are some
problems
and these disks can only be read. I believe that writing to then may
cause a
kernel trap.
