Carlos,

Under the CDROM tree there is a directory that discribes what is in the
sets. Just get what you don't have and go to the directory the packages
are stored in and just do a "pkgadd -d . <packagename(s)>" for the packages
  you are missing.

There's definitely no need to reinstall. Just use pkgadd or swmtool
(your choice, depending whether you prefer the command line or
graphical interface, but swmtool is probably easier) to install the
additional packages you need from the Solaris 2.5 CDROM.

Log in as root and go to the admintool utility. Put in your solaris2.5 cd, then click on browse=>software. It will search for all the pkgs that have been installed on your machine. Now go to Edit=>Add, and you should be able to install anything that yo
ur heart desires.

Hope this helps....

Hi Carlos,

if you have got enough disk space in every partition for the additional software
you can use pkgadd to install the software.
Have a look at the installation handbook, there should be a list of the packages
included in end user and in developers cluster. Mount your Solaris CD-Rom,
there is a directory on it called Solaris_2.5. In this directory you will find
all of the software packages. Do a
pkgadd -d <cdrom-mount-point>/Solaris_2.5 <pkgname1> <pkgname2> ...
for all of the additionaly needed packages.
You will have to answer some additional questions during the pkgadd, but they are
only for security reasons (shouldn't be a problem).

Hope that helps

I'm afraid I don't know the real easy way to load the "Clusters" as Sun
calls them....that would get you to Developer Support, however you can
put your Solaris CD in your CDROM, cd /cdrom/cdrom0/s0, and type in:

pkgadd -d .

And add the packages you see listed (it will be all of them so pick the
ones you need...)

I had to do it yesterday so...

Start "swmtool -d `pwd`" from the /cdrom/sol.../Solaris_2.4 directory. Note
the packages you need to add to make it Developper System. From that same
directory (the one with all the SUNW... in it) start "pkgadd -d `pwd`". It
will show you the list of available packages, all you do is puch in the one
you want to add (a space separated list).

Good Luck.

load the OS cdrom. Run either swmtool (X based) or swm (character) and select the 'Developer System Support' package.

You should be able to a pkgadd of all the package that comprise the developers system. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure just what packages that includes, but you should be able to find that out, or at least make a pretty good guess by looking at the distribution CD.

The Solaris admintool also has a GUI tool for package management.
