Thanks for the assistance! The answer was that the _mem_ops
symbol was located in the mem_kern.o object file in the OBJ
directory. I just missed it. This was caused by the stuff
I had taken out of the configuration file. GENERIC was still
buildable, so I started over and pared the config file again
to where I needed it. Also, I had taken out some of the
frame buffers and stuff for sunview, which I had forgotten
was still used by the older OpenWindows.
