SUMMARY: Solaris 2.4/PC/CAP printing

I got several good responses to my query (see below), but the one that fixed the
problem was the following from Hon-Man Wong (honman@cs.sfu.ed).
For archives' sake, the other suggestions were:

1) from rfailing@williams-int.com: install lp jumbo patch 101959
2) from simong@aifs.org.au: make sure the PC is not prepending
     Ctrl-D's to the job
