This error occurs if the OPENWINHOME environment variable is not set.
This environment variable is used to determine the location of the
classing engine database (cetables). The user needs to set OPENWINHOME
to where OpenWindows is installed, e.g.:

        % setenv OPENWINHOME /usr/openwin

This frequently happens when using non-SUN displays that use rexec or
rsh to start the clients and OPENWINHOME is not always set. In this
case, users can set the variable in their root window or in the startup
line, e.g.:

        % setenv OPENWINHOME /usr/openwin; $OPENWINHOME/bin/mailtool

You need to define OPENWINHOME as /usr/openwin

You need to set OPENWINHOME in addition to the DISPLAY variable.
