The major difference is 2.5.1 has support for multi-processing ultras.

My undersanding is that 2.5.1 is 2.5 with Ultra support.

The big difference is that you need 2.5.1 if you are running an ultra.
2.5 does not work on ultras.
Other than that, no big difference.

2.5.1 helps with Ultra 2 Creator3 machines and Creator3D machines.
In addition, WABI now runs Native on Solaris x86.
CDE now supports drag and drop properly, and a better installer.
Energy Star is nicer.
the Admin suite is nicer.
The Backup program is slicker.
