First, thanks a lot for people who response! You are a big help.

The problem was:

My machine is a NIS slave, but the hostname was not correct, I changed it
and made it ping'able by other slave's.

And now I can print.

1) root has the same problem.
2) I can get banner page only.

Hello,

I met a strange problem.

I've install hpnpC0233.sunos on a SunOS4.1.3, and configured a local
print queue using 'jetadmin'.

But, when I run 'lp -dprinter_name filename', It won't print out.

Whenever I run 'lpstat -t', I can see:
print_name is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
active judyh 1 hpnpinstall 29555 bytes

But I can print a test to that priner from 'jetadmin'.
