There was one machine, we moved it this morning, now whenever I type vi **
then it kicked me out right away, just did not do anything. It is running
SunOS 4.1.3 on this sparc 20. Can anyone of you tell me what happened? and how
should I fix it? Thanks a lot.

The problem is: /var/tmp was linked to /tmp directory, that is why vi does not work after reboots.
