Here's Ric Anderson's answer (thanks Ric):
If you
mail test
wheres test is
test: user1, user2
in /etc/aliases *AND* you are user1 or user2 (even if su'ed to
root) you won't get a copy of the mail because sendmail doesn't cc
the sender by default.
Try
telnet yourmachien 25
and enter
EXPN test
that will expand the alias and list its members (unless you have
"EXPN" disabled in sendmail.cf).
---------
Basically, I was sending mail to an alias which included myself, so I
never got a "cc" from the mail I sent... After sending mail as third
user, I was able to have user1 and user2 get mail... :)
Thanks to all who responded!
