Summary: One of multiple IPs

     My original problem: A Sun system was configured to answer to
     multiple IPs (ifconfigure). Worked fine. Then it started claiing
     that it was the "Wrong" (undesired) one when it went out ftp, SMTP,...
     
     Apparent solution: Turn off anything that might do dynamic routing and
     generate static routes such that there is no way 'out' of the wrong
     IPs. Seems to work so far.
