Sorry, the subject line was a mistake, but I'm using it again.

My question was:

> Hello Sun Managers,
> I'm using SunOS 4.1.1.
> When I'm writing a C - program, its size is never smaller than 16384 bytes.
> The `file' command gives an output like:
> a.out: sparc demand paged dynamically linked executable
> Many of the system commands are significant smaller, eg. the `tr'
> command 4048 bytes. The `file' command says:
> tr: sparc pure dynamically linked executable
> Can anybody tell me the difference ?
