Hello,
thanx for the responses but there was no perfect hit. The incoming tips:
>a special version of the SX that could do what you want
Sorry, that isn't true. I know that SUN had announced this, but they =
can't
keep their promises. You could drive a 1600x1280 resolution with the
4 MB SX card with 8 Bit Colordepth. But if you try to do so with the
8 MB Sx and the resulting Colordepth of 24 Bit (exactly what I want ;-)
you will get a terrible scratched signal. I've tried it with two =
different
SX and I noticed one week later, that SUN has wiped out this =
1600x1280/24 Bit
announcement on the Web server.
>Sun ZX
Sorry, no 1600x1280
>Megatek Esprit and Tech-Source GXTRA
Sorry, no 24 Bit
>>> So, if you have any further idea, I would be glad to hear from you.
TIA, Dirk.
