Sun Managers,
The solution to my problem was that I needed the fully qualified domain
name in my /etc/bootparams file instead of the local host name. This
must have something to do with the DNS because my NIS machines
(different facility) only use the local host name. It didn't help any
that the add_client script creates the bootparams file using only the
local host names. Thanks to all who responded.
