Hi there,

I wonder if somebody out there can please tell me what version of SunOS

can I install in an old Sun3/80, with 8M RAM and 250M on disk.
I currently have sunos4.0.3, openwin version 2. Is it possible to upgrade?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------Conclusion---------------------------------------

Yes, it is possible. SunOS 4.1.1_U1 is the last release to support sun-3's,
tought it still has OpenWindows version 2.

It runs with 8MB of RAM. Andreas Fenner also refered that you must install
4.1.1 first and then upgrade to 4.1.1_U1.

Thank you very much to you all.
It is great to be on this list.

Greetings from Portugal

Jorge
