Thanks for the many replies. The original question I possed was
basically:
"How do I upgrade to 4.1.4 rather than do a total reinstall?"
Most answers said "sunupgrade" from the CD, with the knowledge that you
need a fair bit of extra space on / and /usr to hold old copies of
volatile files.
One answer suggested I avoid moving to 4.1.4 and that 4.1.3_U1 was much
more stable.
There were also, of course, the few standard "me to's".
