We'll I didn't get too many responses, which I guess means that not too many
people are still using these drives. Most of the people who responded said that
It's probably the disk and not the controller, so I decided to swap disks
last wednesday nite. Fortunately, I was able to get a good dump of the
filesystems off of this disk first so it wasn't too much of a headache.
Anyway, after replacing the disk, the problem has gone away.
