Not sure exactly what you're describing. If it's that after you
logout, there are phantom tty's listed by the 'w' command, then this
problem can be ignored, and the last I heard, there was no fix for
this.

After waiting for about a week, Sun get back to me with an answer.
There is a fix for my problem with Patch-ID# 100943-02
After installing the patch, there are no more "phantom tty's" after users
log out.
