A couple days ago, in frustration, I posted a request for any sort of DLPI
documentation that was out there. It seemed awfully strange that Sun
wouldn't bother to ship such a thing with the system..

Thanks to tkoprulu@cat.syr.edu (Taci), I found everything I need on
opcom.sun.ca in the pub/drivers/dlpi directory.

I also found the LBL "pcap" (packet capture) library which tries to hide
the details of all the varying packet capture/filter interfaces. It seems
to be a useful bit of code (though still in an "alpha" state and subject to
change, they say). It's on ftp.ee.lbl.gov.
