In order to perform a Solaris2.4 machine named myhost, such a 
  ufsdump 0uf user@backupserver:/dev/rmt/... /dev/rdsk/..
command, Solaris2.4 will previously change the uid from root
to user BEFORE doing the dump from user@myhost to user@backupserver
Hence :
   1- user must exist on myhost
   2- on myhost, user must belong to the sys group, in order to
    get read access to the disk devices + write access to dumpdates
   3- of course, on backupserver side, user must be able to write to
    the tape device
   4- user@myhost must have an entry in user's
    .rhosts on backupserver (and not root@myhost)
