1) Don't install the 2.0 SPC software on Solaris 2.3, a later
   revision is bundled. Installing 101398-05 gets you out
   of this problem.
2) /kernel/drv/stc.conf is not the file to set any options
   in, use /kernel/drv/options.conf
3) The 'display' command is broken, so don't expect any

The final catch is that there should be a single trailing ';'
in options.conf. An example:-
# internationalization, use these modes,
# "2502:1805:bd:8a3b:3:1c:7f:15:4:0:0:0:11:13:1a:19:12:f:17:16"
name="options" class="root"

Most of this is described in infodoc-2137 on the SunSolve CD,
which I already had and hadn't checked :-(
