Looks like I was wrong -- yppasswdd *does* check if a user's orig
shell is in /etc/shells.
Thus, the stupidity is not in the daemon (it works intelligently), but
in the man page (it stupidly doesn't mention that the daemon works
intelligently). ;->
Oh, and I guess I get some credit for stupidity, as well.
