First off: I'm sorry for shouting!

Second: We were able to solve our problem. It had to
do with a bug in the product.

Third: I've received well over a hundred responses and all the
ones I've read so far were in support and in full
agreement. I'm apparently not the only one having this problem. So I
thank everyone and forgive if me if I don't credit everyone who responded,
but it would take some time to do this summary.

To summarize: Everyone wanted to flame these consultants and sales people.
I'm not too sure what this means but sounds great!

Jerry Springer had a less hostile approach:

Jerry writes:
Your impression is correct.
But you can not stop sales people from subscribing to the list and
doing this. You have 2 alternatives. Get together all the names and email
addresses of the sales people and forward them to the sun managers maintainer
(John DiMarco (jdd@cdf.toronto.edu)). They might get removed from the list.

Or do not publish anything but your email address in any posting.
Getting "garbage" email is not fun but a simple <delete> and they are history
If they get your phone number they can continually bother you.

                        Thanks everyone
