SUMMARY: Converting networked Sun to standalone

   Hello,
thanks to everyone who responded to my query. The question was: "How
do I reconfigured a networked SunOS 4.1.3_U1 to be standalone
(non-networked) machine.

Here is what I did and it works great:
 
      touch /etc/.UNCONFIGURED
      sync;sync;reboot

answer questions and you are set. Worked for me. Another answer (I
think it may be essentially the same as above) is:

      /usr/etc/install/sys-unconfig
      
and reboot.

I received other answers as well - thanks again to all who responded.
