By far the overwhelming response was to use the Purify product by Pure
Software, 1309 S. Mary Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94087, Ph. 408-720-1600,
info@pure.com.
My problem is still oustanding, but with the Purify output, I have useful
data that I can now show the software vendor. At least I am no longer flying
blind :-).
Other suggestions included getting PD malloc routines that provide debugging
capabilities. The suggested method for finding these routines were to
execute an archie search for
efence
mallaoc-dbg
debug-malloc
malloclib
malloc-1.2
