SUMMARY:PCNFS 4.0 and SunOS 4.1.3_U1

        Hola:

                Well, the problem is still here, just found a
workaround.

        I took away NIS, from the nfsconf. No NIS, no RARP, it works.

        I think the problem is with NIS and/or DNS configurations, I don't know
why, all the suns and one RS/6000 are working very well.

        I got only two replies:

now, the original message:
        Hola:
 
                With the upgrading of the Sun's OS to 4.1.3_U1, the
PCNFS clients can not use the network printers.
 
                I can mount any NFS FS on the network, but not
printers.
 
        When I use:
net use LPT1: mafalda:lp # I get:
NFS039F: the NET USE failed (code 1022)
 
which tells me nothing, note that I can use:
 
net status mafalda:lp # and I get the right answer, and
 
net use g: mafalda:/var/spool/pcnfs # and I can mount the FS.
 
        The pcnfsd is the pcnfsd.93.02.16.tar.Z version, running at
three servers, one of them is a NIS server and the other two are NIS
slaves.
 
        Can somebody help me?.
