Shoot... I knew I was forgetting something.. sorry

On the 8505, there are three led's. top, middle and bottom...

If, while writing, the middle led is green, the drive is NOT doing
compression.

If, it is amber, it IS doing compression...

This is in the Exabyte manual, and I was able to verify this is indeed
true.

Also, if the top and bottom are flashing, it needs to have the heads
cleaned.
