Hi:

I asked why I could not get yp maps of another
yp domain using "ypcat -d domainname mapname" ....

My question was really out of curiosity and most people
gave me answers that were a bit too advanced for me ....
But they helped ....

At any rate, most replies were referring to the
fact that most sites have installed SUN's patch to
cause such external queries kinda impossible...

Some other replies were referring to the fact that some
particular master/slave set-up/arrangment in both
domains should exist in order to make such queries possible ...
