Many thanks to all that responded to my question:
>I have a visitor at our site with a PC (gasp!) loaded with PC-NFS
?v4 and LifeLine Mail 2.0. I gather I need a POP server and I know
>they are in the public domain. What I am unsure of is the version
>of POP I require and where I can get a copy.

The consensus seems to be to use pop-2 although I am going to have
a look at 'popper'. pop-2 is working for me right now although
I have noticed our sendmail going into race conditions a few times..??
Most people felt sendmail compatibility was not an issue.

also mentioned pop servers are on the lifeline disks. But alas
I do not have access to those.

Again, thanks to all who responded even if I forgot to mention
you here,

Jim
