Hallo SUN Managers,
my original question was:

Thanks to those who have responded. Summarizing the mails there were three
possible solutions:
* AT&T toolchest used to have it. But noone knows whether thinks changed
since the USL/Novell thing. Someone suggested that one should talk
to the local Novell office (not distributor)
* Most people suggested the POSIX compliant Bourne Again Shell, from GNU
(bash). I've installed the newest version (bash-1.12), but we have not yet
decided whether it fits the user's requirements or not.
One problem is, that the ENV initialisation is executed only for
Shell-Scripts and not for every started Shell.
* Some people recommended the tcsh, which is a supperset of the C-Shell.
Until now, we have no sufficient solution. We will have a closer look to bash.
Maybe we will try to contact Novell for informations on how to achieve
a ksh license for SUN.
Many thanks,
Volker Sander
