Last week I asked whether somebody had experience with the
Tech-Source SBus Xterminals.
Many thanks to
owens@hpn.trw.com (Mark G. Owens)
boenning@igd.fhg.de (Dirk Boenning)
larry@ma.pdc.com (Larry Freeman)
tony@sparky.esd.mun.ca (Tony Kocurko)
magnin@acri.fr (Michel Magnin)
The consensus is : They are better and faster than regular X terminals,
perhpas even cheaper. OpenWindows runs fine, xdm doesn't. There is software
for Solaris 1.1 and 2.2, and Mark has two of them is his SS2's.
Sounds promising, I'll buy one and see it myself.
Thanks a lot,
