Everyone who replied (except for one "me, too") suggested printtool, which is
part of OpenWindows 3. This is pretty good, it does integrate the functions of
lpr/lpq/lprm, but it is a user tool, not an administrator's tool -- as Glenn
Satchell remarked. I want an admin tool, one which has all the functions of
lpc as well, but I didn't say that clearly enough.
The only other suggestion was to try NeWSPrint Software, which is not an al-
ternative for me, since the computer in question is a server for PC-NFS running
a hodgepodge of different printers.
